Set Bonuses + Atlas Amps: Reading the Numbers
Gear stats, set bonuses and atlas amplifiers all pile onto the same march. Here is how they combine and how to total them correctly.
A gear set is three layers of bonus at once: the pieces themselves, the set bonus for wearing enough of them, and the atlas amplifiers on top. Totalling them by hand is where mistakes creep in.
The three layers
- Per-piece stats scale with the star level of each piece.
- Set bonuses unlock at piece-count thresholds – you often want the threshold, not every piece maxed.
- Atlas amps add another layer that stacks on the set for a specific troop type.
Hitting a set-bonus threshold with cheaper pieces can beat maxing fewer pieces past it. Total the whole build before you spend on refinements.
